In the south-west of France in the region of Les Landes the camping Lou Puntaou is situated next to Léon’s fresh water lake and in the heart of the nature reserve “Le Courant d’Huchet”. The campsite offers a wide range of accommodation, animation and activities for all ages.
The camping has three main zones: Lou Puntaou which is the most animated, Punta Lago and Gîte et Soleil the quietest of the three zones.
Lou Puntaou where its aquatic centre includes 1 large heated pool under a dome with a hot tub, 3 outdoor pools, 1 paddling pool, slides for all ages, a crazy SpaceBowl waterslide and last but by no means least our latest addition the amazing Aquaplay! In this zone you will also find Carabouille’s incredible castle, restaurant, boules pitches, our main stage, sports areas and playgrounds.
Punta Lago has its own large but calmer aquatic centre offering an outdoor and a heated indoor pool and a paddling pool for the little ones, a restaurant, multi sports area, play areas and the smaller of our two stages.
Gîte et Soleil is the quietest part of the campsite, situated less than 2 mins by bike from the main stage and Aquaplay, it is the most peaceful with tropical plants and flowers, an area perfect for families with young children. You can also enjoy an outdoor pool, a paddling pool, boules and barbeque area and children’s play area.
Enjoy the beaches, sand dunes, lakes and pine forests, where you can practice many sports such as surfing, stand up paddle, sailing, canoeing, golf, horse-riding, walking, fishing or discover the area by bike on the excellent cycle tracks.
On this spectacular coastline (8km from Lou Puntaou), the wide sandy beaches stretch from Biscarrosse in the northern Aquitaine to the estuary of the Adour near Bayonne in the Basque region to the south, more than 100 km. Visit picturesque local towns such as Hossegor and Capbreton or beautiful cities of the Basque country like Bayonne, Biarritz, San Jean de Luz, San Sebastien or the coastal villages such as Cap de l'Homy, Moliets, Messanges or Vieux-Boucau.

With the Fun Dose, you can choose the right campsite for the whole family. There are four different entertainment levels: green, blue, purple, and red. The fuller the bottle, the more entertainment there is! If the potion vial is green or only half full, then there is little entertainment on site. If the vial is red or nearly full, plenty of entertainment is available.
No matter the level of the Fun Dose, the mini-clubs and participation in all activities are free of charge.

From Monday 8th July to Friday 30th August 2024, we offer the following entertainment free of charge:
-The Clapou Club (4-6 years old) and Policator Club (7-10 years old) welcome children from Monday until Thursday, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.
-The Nobodys (11-17 year olds) meet up twice a week.
-We offer evening entertainment 5 nights a week, 4 entertainers, aqua gym every morning and an almost non-stop super fun day and evening program until midnight!
-Entertainment on French campsites starts from the 8th July (in French). On Dutchbox campsites the French animation team includes 1 Dutch speaking entertainer.
In the Netherlands, we offer entertainment from Saturday 6th July to Sunday 1st September 2024.
