Grandcamp Maisy is delightful, this little preserved port, its typical market with very attractive prices and its seaside. I particularly enjoy soaking up the moving atmosphere of the landing beaches and strolling through the peaceful American cemetery. My favourite accommodation is the Habana with it's sea view, Hear the waves roar and crash against the rocks, but be careful the sea is turbulent and seaweed often washes up on the seafront!

The Donjon de Lars campsite is in a verdant location with proximity to the sea… My advice: opt for a Raoul mobile home on a plot (the category of accommodation type centred around comfort). Without the need for a car and close to the children’s play area, this mobile home is in the ideal spot!

I love this friendly, smaller-scale campsite, peaceful and surrounded by greenery, just 300 m from the beach! 🌊 It's the perfect place to enjoy Normandy with the family, with swimming, seaside walks and fascinating historical discoveries. And with 2 adult bikes provided free of charge per mobile home, there's nothing better than setting off to explore the coast by bike! 🚲

Children love the heated outdoor swimming pool and fun paddling pools! And one of my favourite extras is the free access to the aquatic centre and shows at Capfun Donjon de Lars, just 1.5 km away. Plenty of ways to enjoy your holiday!

My little tip? Explore Courseulles-sur-Mer and its charming harbour, then take the time to visit the D-Day landing beaches and the Juno Beach Centre. ❤️ A wonderful opportunity to spend quality time together as a family while discovering a fascinating chapter of history!
