1. CONCERNING THE RESERVATION

Is it possible to pay in installments with no extra cost?

Yes! You can pay a deposit of 25% of the price + booking fees + optional cancellation insurance in installments.
The balance can be paid on your personal Clix account by credit card, bank transfer, or upon your arrival at the holiday park. Except for our partner campsites where the balance is due 30 days before arrival.

How do I pay for my stay?

You can pay for your stay:
- By credit card: for a secure and fast payment on our website www.capfun.co.uk
- By bank transfer: you can find the IBAN and BIC of a holiday park on your Clix account.

Please note that it often takes three days for a bank transfer to arrive in the bank account of the holiday park. It must then be processed (this also applies to payments made by credit card). It may take several days before you will receive your payment confirmation and be able to visualise your payment in your Clix-account.

How can I know the total price of my stay, with participants and extra options included?

The prices listed on our website are the rental prices of the accommodations. Administration fees, tourist taxes, optional cancellation insurance, and any extras (like the rental of bed linen) are not included in this price.
To know the total price of your stay, simply click on the price, enter your email address, and complete the information. Your price will automatically be calculated.

What is a Clix account?

On your Clix account you can find your previous stays and information about your current stay. Your access codes are automatically sent by e-mail once your booking has been confirmed.

You can request your password at any time here: www.Capfun.co.uk/clix.
You only get access to a Clix account if you have made a reservation for a Capfun campsite. You will not have access to a Clix account if you have made a booking with a partner campsite or one of our residences.

Do I need to show my contract at check-in?

After booking your stay, you can access your personal Capfun Clix account. Here you can download your contract. There is no need to fill it in, send it to the holiday park or show it upon arrival; we already have all the necessary information!

How does the cancellation insurance work?

For peace of mind, it is possible to add cancellation insurance as an extra when making your booking. This insurance allows you to cancel your reservation and receive a refund for the amount paid at any time, whether before or during the stay.

By signing up to this guarantee (at a cost of €26 for stays of 7 nights or more and €9 for stays of 2 to 6 nights), you will be refunded for the paid amounts (excluding administration fees and cancellation insurance) in the case of:
Death of the insured, A disease that affects the insured and that was not known at the time of signing the rental agreement, or an accident that occurs after the signing. The death, disease, or accident that affects, under the same conditions, the spouse of the insured and immediate family - An administrative summons, the judiciary, the military, as well as a criminal jury trial. An impediment due to a layoff, a transfer of the insured or his partner, or the bankruptcy of the company that is operated by the insured.

What is included in the price?

Access to the water park, water and electricity (except for camping pitches and monthly rentals), necessary equipment for the number of people in a mobile home or cottage (except additional persons), 1 parking space included and access to free activities.
Be aware that before and after the summer period, some shops might be closed and some activities might not be available.

 
 

How many people can stay in my accommodation?

Exceeding the maximum number of people indicated is not permitted for security and insurance reasons. Babies are counted, even if they do not sleep in a separate bed.

Is it possible to place an option?

If you call the holiday park or our call center (0033 492283848), you can choose to place an option that will be valid for 10 days. This option will be cancelled after 10 days if you haven't made a down payment to confirm the reservation.

For last minute holidays (30 days before the arrival date) it is no longer possible to place an option.
For Capfun's holiday parks : at least a 25% of a down payment of the stay + cancellation insurance + administration fees should be paid in order to confirm an option. For partner campsites we ask for the total amount of the stay.

2. CONCERNING YOUR STAY

Are pets allowed?

We accept pets at a wide selection of our holiday parks and we charge a daily fee per pet. Check out our interactive map: http://www.Capfun.co.uk/map.html?carte=frankrijk&animaux=on&lang=EN to see which of our holiday parks accept pets. Or check the "service" section on the holiday park's webpage.

Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times on the holiday park. In addition, they must be fully vaccinated and microchipped. You must be able to provide a pet's passport/vaccination certificate when asked. Naturally, you are required to clean up after your dog at the holiday park.

Dogs belonging to categories 1 and 2 are not permitted entry at our holiday parks. Thus the following breeds are prohibited:
- Pitbull and crosses with the American Staffordshire Terrier
- Boerboel and crosses with Mastiff
- Tosa and crosses with the Tosa
- American Staffordshire Terrier
- Rottweiler and crosses with the Rottweiler

 
 

Do you provide baby kits?

At most of our holiday parks you can rent a baby kit (subject to availability). Baby kits include a high chair, a bed and a bath. Baby kits can only be booked in advance.

Does the holiday park have a kids club?

Almost all of our holiday parks provide a free "kids club" with daily entertainment for children between 4 and 12 years old. The kids clubs are subject to availability and based on the number of leaders present. The number of "kids" and "teen" clubs depend on the Fun Dose of the holiday park.

What is a Fun Dose?

Because everyone has different expectations and wishes when it comes to holidays, we make it easy for you to choose your holiday park according to the degree of entertainment that you are looking for!
You can find the Fun Dose of a holiday park on their webpage. It is represented by a small potion vial that indicates the degree of entertainment at the holiday park. The fuller, the higher the quantity and variety of entertainment offered by the holiday park!
If you prefer quiet holidays, opt for a green Fun Dose.
If you prefer lots of entertainment, sports, and partying, pick a campsite with a red Fun Dose.
Whatever the Fun Dose is, kid's clubs and other entertainment is free of charge.

Are swimming trunks allowed?

For hygienic reasons, loose-fitting swimming trunks are forbidden in our water parks, and tight-fitting swimming briefs are compulsory.
Toddlers must wear special swimming diapers.

What happens if I arrive at the Holiday Park after 7 p.m.?

If you arrive after closing time of the reception at the holiday park, don't worry: an envelope will be waiting for you with your key and the map of the holiday park. Don't forget to stop by the reception the following day for your check-in.

Do I have to pay a security deposit upon arrival?

  1. Accommodation:
A pre-authorisation to debit your credit card of 1 € will be requested before your stay via your Clix account or on your arrival at the campsite. In case of damage (breakage, missing items, deterioration) we will debit your credit card in order to restore the accommodation to its original state.

  1. Cleaning:
The accommodation must be left clean on your departure (floors cleaned, dishes washed, blankets put away, dustbins emptied, cupboards cleaned, kitchen and sanitary installations cleaned).
If you notice any anomalies in the state of your accommodation on arrival, you must immediately inform the campsite reception, which will do its utmost to rectify the situation as soon as possible. Otherwise, no complaint can be taken into account at the end of your stay.
If the accommodation is not left clean at the end of your stay, costs as detailed below will apply in order to restore your accommodation to a clean condition.
Paying for the final cleaning does not exempt you from returning the accommodation in a minimum state of cleanliness (no food leftovers or waste tolerated).

  1. Other cases:
A security deposit may also be required on a selection of campsites for a Top Presta pitch rental, the provision of gate badges, barbecue hire, bike hire or any other special service.

 

What are the hours for check-in and check-out?

You can check in from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Departures are scheduled before 11 p.m. in France and Spain and before 10 a.m. in the Netherlands and Belgium. This may vary, check your contract available via your Clix account for more information.
Pitches are available from 2 p.m. and must be vacated by noon the following day.

Is there free Wifi available at the holiday parks?

We offer free Wi-Fi in the bar or at the reception areas at all our holiday parks.

How are mobile home rentals equipped?

All the Top Presta mobile homes are equipped with a TV, air conditioning unit and a dishwasher.
All camping pitches named Top Presta have a garden shed with a refrigerator; a table with 6 chairs, occasionally 2 sun beds and a barbecue (check the webpage of the holiday park for the exact contents of the shed).
The terraces of the mobile homes can be covered, semi-covered, or uncovered.

Can I book an end of stay cleaning service?

Book a cleaning service for the end of your stay to allow yourself and your family the chance to fully enjoy your holiday right up until the last day.
