"Water is a precious resource; let's conserve it:
I will notify the holiday park if I notice a leak.
I will favour quick showers.
I will not leave the tap running unnecessarily.
The water that I use to rinse fruit and vegetables will also be used to water the plants.
I will opt for shorter washing machine cycles."
In 2023, we will no longer use disposable mattress pads, which were imported from China and were produced 100% from petroleum!
Instead, we will protect our mattresses with reusable covers.
We have made the decision to remove the small welcome box that awaited our guests upon arrival; we imported these boxes in large quantities, and the transportation and stockage were not eco-friendly.
Instead, we provide our guests with the following items:
- A roll of toilet paper made in France from recycled materials.
- An ECOLABEL dishwasher tablet made in Europe.
- A bin bag.
We decided to remove the washing-up bottle given to our guests because the packaging contained too much plastic for our liking, we also removed the sponge which was problematic for us to recycle. Guests can still request sponges from our reception desk if they so choose.
It is possible that the holiday park that you are staying at still has a stock of welcome boxes dating from 2022. We are running through this stock in order to avoid any waste.

Here are some simple actions that you can take to help throughout your stay! Every drop counts!
ENERGY
I use reversible air conditioning rather than radiators to heat my mobile home.
I turn off the air conditioning or heating when I open the windows.
I make sure to switch off the air conditioning, the heating, any lights, and any electrical appliances before I leave my mobile home.
I do not connect my electric car to my mobile home.
WASTE
I sort my rubbish.
I do not throw cigarettes on the ground and I make sure to stub these out before disposing of them.
I use the recycling bins that the holiday park provides, even for electrical items such as batteries.
I don't flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilet.
On walks and at the holiday park , I pick up the waste that I can find on the ground.
THE BIODIVERSITY
During my walks, I stay on the marked trails.
I do not pick any plants or flowers.
I make sure to watch where I step so as not to destroy the natural wildlife habitat around me.
I do not create dams in rivers and streams.
RESPONSIBLE PURCHASING
I favour local and seasonal food produce.
I favour the use of natural products (repellent against mosquitoes, sun creams).
I purchase reasonably to avoid waste.
When I leave, I give any unused food to the holiday park instead of throwing it away.
I favour reusable over disposable materials (plates and cutlery).
I buy products with little packaging.
TRANSPORTATION
I check that my tires are properly inflated.
I adopt eco-driving.
I use more sustainable and cleaner modes of transport.
