The department Vaucluse
In the Vaucluse, mountains, plain hills and valleys alternate. The typical villages and towns of the Provence are well represented in this department. Le Thor is a picturesque village, located 15 km from Avignon and 5 km from Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. Here you will find campsite Jantou, a real family campsite. Enjoy beautiful walks along the banks of the Sorgue, between vineyards or orchards. Or visit Avignon, where you will find impressive architecture and the famous bridge Le Pont d'Avignon.
At the heart of Vaucluse, in Mornas, you will find campsite Le Beauregard, located in a beautiful pine and oak forest. At the campsite the entire family will enjoy the animation.
In the region of the Mont Ventoux, you will find campsite Carpe Diem. Unwind in one of the beautiful pools while the kids try out the water slides. Nearby is Vaison-la-Romaine, a city with a magnificent historical baggage. This city has the largest archeological site in France.
You can also explore the pine forests of the campsite Pinèdes du Luberon, in the Provencal hinterland. The site has mobile homes, equipped tents and pitches for rent. You will quickly reach the cities of Marseille, Aix-en-Provence and Cassis.
